Scaddy's

So I didn't get a chance to go anywhere fun this week. So I decided this would be a good chance to introduce you to one of my favorite places. I know its great so I dont have to "try it out" to tell you about it. This does mean I dont have any pictures to show you, but I did find the logo on line (thanks google).
Scaddy's Fresh Grill is locally owned and operated. The owner is great and is usually there to greet you. The atmosphere is a simple home town hamburger joint with a few tv's here and there, so we have even gone to watch a few jazz games. But what really makes this place great is the food! They have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We have only gone for dinner but there breakfast looks amazing. They're breakfast specialty is Swedish pancakes. There hamburger's are simply delicious!! I love any of the burgers that have the Scaddy sauce,ya that's right, Scaddy sauce! Its like fry sauce with a little something special. Bruce loves the Wayne burger and the fries are YUM!
Basically you are going to have to try it yourself!

Omar's Living Cuisine

My sister in law Audrey pointed me out to this great find. It is perfect for my new diet. I can eat EVERYTHING there, even the dessert! YUM YUM. Its a raw food restaurant meaning all the food is unprocessed and uncooked plant foods. We started out with a chocolate guji drink which I thought was better then some milk chocolate shakes. Then I enjoyed a Nut Burger made with finely chopped nuts and other yummy spices covered with fresh ketchup, avocados, tomatoes, unions, and sprouts, with a cabbage leaf bun. It was really good! And Bruce enjoyed a Hummus Pizza, the crust more like a tostada but made with nuts and flax, it was topped with hummus lettuce tomatoes, avocados, more veggies, and then a special faux cheese made from nut cream that goes through this long process to taste like cheese. It was very tasty! Then we enjoyed a Pina Colada Pie. I don't know what was in it, but it was amazing. I have also had the chocolate moo dessert which is like a chocolate mouse that doesn't have any added sugar or dairy. Its great to find something so creamy without the cream.
